In today’s world, everyone wants to be more productive by staying focused .Despite this, have you ever
wondered why we all find it difficult to stay focused? The simple answer to this question is that we are
all surrounded by distractions,: Technology distractions, environmental distractions, distractions due to
friends and family, distractions due to overthinking, distractions due to multi-tasking.

In simple words, distractions leads to less focus. So by avoiding distractions, we can remain focused and
boost our performance to achieve desirable results.

Here I will discuss 5 techniques to remain focused.

  1. Set a goal or find a purpose: set an achievable goal .write down steps to achieve this goal .breakdifficult task into simpler one. Setting a goal can help you to stay focused. By setting a goal you find yourpurpose to wake up in the morning, spending all day in harmony and go to bed peacefully at night .It letyou feel more positive throughout your journey.
  2. Time management: Time management is as equally important as setting a goal, because timemanagement is mandatory to remain consistent maki8ng a To do list every day in the morning can helpyou manage your day effectively Use time management technique likes ‘pomodoro’ technique, whereyou set a period to do assign work (25 minutes) and take small breaks (5 Minutes) to freshen your mind.Create a productive environment: Select a specific area to work, it could be a study table, any library, any balcony or any outdoor or indoor place. But it shouldn’t be your bed .Minimize distractions by keeping your workplace clear. Keep your phone away from your workplace or turn the notifications off
    to stay more focused while working.
  3. Prioritize task: Identify important task and tackle them first. Prioritizing tasks can be a game changerto accomplish small task, which will increase our focus by releasing happy hormones By prioritizing task,we finish important things initially and instantly.
  4. Take care of yourself: last but not least ,one should take care of His physical ,mental and spiritualhealth to remain focused.to be physically fit one should eat health ,drink healthy ,exercise regularly, getenough sleep. To be mentally healthy one should have positive self-affirmation towards own self, shouldhave courage to forgive own self when make mistakes and most importantly should talk positively toown self and remind own self that I am capable of doing whatever I am doing? To remain spirituallyhealthy one should practice Mindfulness i.e. praying and meditation, can also help improveconcentration and reduce stress. Beside this by engaging in social service or free hand service, one canfeel mentally and spiritually peaceful

the right place to work, prioritizing task and take care of yourself. By following these steps you will be
able to boost your productivity 10 times by remaining more focused.
